Agree the price first
Every job starts with a clear price. The artisan sends you a quote or bid through OgaRepair, and no work starts until you accept it. Any fees and the total you'll pay are shown before you confirm.
Pay into escrow
Payments are processed by our payment partner, Paystack. When you accept a quote, your payment is held in escrow, and the artisan can't access it until the job is done.
Release when the job is done
When the artisan marks the job complete, you'll be asked to confirm. Once you do, the payment is released to the artisan. If you don't respond within the confirmation window (currently 48 hours), the job is treated as accepted and payment is released automatically, so artisans aren't left waiting indefinitely.

For artisans
You're paid out to the bank account on your profile once the customer confirms completion. OgaRepair keeps a service commission on completed jobs, disclosed before a job is confirmed.
Never pay outside OgaRepair
Payments made directly to an artisan aren't protected by escrow, and we can't help recover them. Read more on our safety page.
